The National University published a new notice on 30 September 2023 on Honors first year examination form extension. The notification said that all the students who have not filled out the form, will complete the form fill up between 2nd October to 10th October 2023 by paying a late fee.

You already know that the form filling process was completed on 18th September 2023. However, the National University is giving students the opportunity to fill up the form through the Late Fee.

The college will give instructions about how much money the students have to pay the late fee and participate in the form fill. In other words, the college will decide how much money the honors first year students will have to participate in the form fill by submitting the late fee.

So all the students who could not participate in the form fill before they must complete the form fill within the stipulated time. Because after that the time will not be extended under any circumstances for the 2023 honors first year exam form fill.

NU Honours First Year Form Fill Up Fee 2023

The National University has prescribed the fee for Honours 1st Year Exam Form Fill Up 2023 every year. Following this, the National University Honors have fixed the fee for filling up the form for the 1st year exam 2023.

NU Honours Form Fill Up Fee Submission Process

Who can participate in Honors First Year Exam 2023?

Students are required to participate in the Honours 1st Year Exam Form Fill Up 2023 subject to certain conditions. However, there is one condition for regular examinees and different conditions for irregular examinees and grade improvement students.

Conditions For Regular Students

• Firstly, the Honours course for all students registered under the National University in the academic year 2021-22
• Secondly, students who have completed the course as per regulations
• Thirdly, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years as a regular student in Honors in first year of 2022

Conditions For Irregular Students

• Students who appeared in the Honors 1st year examination in the academic year 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 have been not-promoted.
• Or did not participate in the exam.
• Not Promoted Candidates are not required to re-examine courses approved in the previous year.
• But those who participated in the exam for the first time in Honors first year in 2021 and got C grade or D grade.
• In the 2022 examination, a maximum of two papers will be given an opportunity to improve the grade.
• Students will get an opportunity to take the exam in all the subjects that have an F grade.

Improvement Exam Student’s Conditions

• Firstly, 2021 Honors 1st year candidates who appear for the first time as regular irregular examination are promoted to 2nd year.
• Those students will be able to take improvement exam off only in courses with C and D grade.
• However, there will be an opportunity to participate in the examination in maximum two papers.
• Those students who have participated in Honors first-year examination in 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 academic years and got promotions to second year but have F grade in any subject.
• All F-graded courses have to improve to a minimum grade of D by examination.

Special Permission for 2013-14, 2014-15 Students

All the students who have academic year 2013-14 and 2014-15. And all these students have F Grade in one or more subjects. All these students will get the opportunity of Honours 1st Year Exam Form Fill Up 2023 and honours exam in 2023 but subject to some conditions.

Candidates for the academic year 2013-14 and 2014-15 will fill out the form and participate in the exam by paying a total of taka 5000.

All these students are given more opportunities. Such as no need to renew their registration to participate in the examination. But this time if the students fail to participate in the examination in the mentioned academic year or fail to participate in the examination then they will not get the opportunity to participate in the examination in any case.
